Job Description
Shaw Lab Group has always believed in developing strong relationships with dentists through experienced technicians. We're currently looking for a skilled Digital Denture Technician to join our team in North York. The ideal candidate will excel in digital denture design, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have strong communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities
Thoroughly read and interpret the doctor's prescriptions Evaluate and correct scans/models to identify and resolve discrepancies Design custom trays, partial dentures, and complete denture setups using 3Shape and/or exocad Prepare and design implant-supported digital dentures Ensure designs meet Shaw Lab Group standards and specifications; adjust or redesign as required Maintain accuracy when preparing files and models Communicate effectively with dentists and team members regarding denture cases
Qualifications
Diploma in Dental Technology preferred, but not required Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital denture design considered an asset Proficiency in 3Shape and/or exocad software for removable prosthetics Strong understanding of dental morphology Experience with implant-supported digital dentures considered an asset Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) Ability to multitask in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
