Overview The Digital Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives across cannabis retail, cannabis product and liquor retail. Reporting to the Digital Manager, the Digital Coordinator supports the digital marketing team in implementing various online strategies to achieve SNDL\xe2\x80\x99s goals. Key responsibilities 1. Digital Campaign Management: Coordinate and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, such as websites, social media, email marketing and paid advertising. 2. Content Creation and Management: Assist in creating, editing, and optimizing digital content, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters. Ensure that the content aligns with the brand voice and guidelines, and optimize it for search engines and user engagement. 3. Social Media Management: Help manage SNDL\'s social media accounts by scheduling and publishing content, monitoring engagement, responding to comments and messages, and tracking social media analytics. Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices. 4. Website Management: Support the maintenance and updates of the various websites, including uploading content, managing plugins or widgets, monitoring website performance, and conducting basic SEO tasks. Collaborate with web developers or internal team members for more complex website changes. 5. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze digital marketing data, such as website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, and conversion rates. Prepare reports with key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of digital campaigns and identify areas for improvement. 6. Email Marketing: Assist in developing and executing email marketing campaigns, including creating email templates, managing subscriber lists, segmenting audiences, and tracking email performance metrics. Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations, such as obtaining and managing opt-ins and opt-outs. 7. Digital Advertising Support: Collaborate with the Creative team on paid advertising campaigns, including display ads, search engine marketing (SEM), and social media advertising. Help with campaign setup, tracking, and performance monitoring. 8. Research and Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing. Conduct research on competitor activities, audience demographics, and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for digital marketing strategies. 9. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, content, and sales, to ensure alignment and coordination of digital initiatives. Communicate project updates, timelines, and deliverables effectively with team members and stakeholders. 10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose new ideas to enhance SNDL\xe2\x80\x99s digital marketing efforts. Stay updated on the latest tools, technologies, and platforms related to digital marketing and suggest their implementation as appropriate. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in a similar or related role; preferably in a fast-paced, consumer-facing environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, strategies and tactics. Familiarity with various digital channels such as social media, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing and online advertising.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, social media management tools (e.g. Sprout, Later), email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp, Shopify)
  • Ability to create engaging and compelling digital content, including writing copy for website, blogs, social media posts, and email campaigns.
  • Experience in managing social media accounts, creating social media strategies, and executing social media campaigns. Familiarity with different social media platforms, understanding of audience targeting, content scheduling, and engagement measurement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $35,003.13-$65,000.00 per year Benefits:
