The Administrative Assistant - DI Research is the first responder to researcher needs, providing immediate consultation and investigation for troubleshooting. Flexibility to meet scheduling requirements of research needs is necessary.Hours of Work37.5 hours bi-weekly; Monday to Friday - schedule flexibility and hybrid options will be considered.Your Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized office administration program required or equivalent educational program.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years related experience required. Experience working in research and/or medical field an asset.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suites and other computer programs/software require.
  • Demonstrated superior oral and technical writing communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, public, and external agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly assess situations and to make decision using sound judgement required.
  • High degree of initiative, diligence, attention to detail and self-discipline/focus required.
  • Excellent multitasking, organizational and prioritization skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or with minimal supervision required.
  • Competencies in other languages considered an asset.
