at Children's Autism Services of Edmonton is seeking

Developmental

Assistants

to provide meaningful support to children and families in their homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience with an organization you're already part of, while continuing your education.

Position Summary:

As a Developmental Assistant, you will:

Support the implementation of individualized strategies designed by a clinical team. Work directly with children and families during 1-2 hour sessions. Attend joint visits with clinical team members, as well as conduct independent follow-up visits. Help children practice goals and skills identified in their family's support plan.

What We're Looking For:

Students or recent graduates in a human services, education, or health-related field. Availability for 2-3 sessions per week, typically in the after-school/evening window (3-7 PM) or on Saturdays. Passion for working with children and families in a strengths-based, compassionate, and engaging way. Willingness to travel to family homes and work independently following training and supervision. A strong team player, and self driven individual
