ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Impact recruitment has partnered with an established real estate developer that has been in the business for over 8 years. They have recently taken on 2 massive projects with a couple more prestigious projects in their pipeline.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is rare opportunity to join an established and successful team as they are in a huge period of growth with a lot of projects moving through the pipeline, you would get to work on full cycle development on a range of diverse and significant projects. You as an experienced Development Manager will have experience working on large developments within the City of Vancouver and will be able to hit the ground running but will have exposure to all aspects of the project and have the opportunity to build legacy projects that any development professional would be proud of.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role you will have full control over the entire development process, including the acquisitions, ideally you will have a design/architectural background and can add value to the business with your expertise.

• Municipal approvals
• Rezoning
• Acquisitions
• Proforma analysis
• Site feasibility
• Managing and organising all development staff
• Development permits
• Building permit
• Consultant Management
• Cashflow
• Acting as centre point for all development
• Close work and relationship building with various stakeholders
• Working closely with construction to achieve the best results

THE REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 2 years in a Development Manager role, (minimum 5 years in a development role including coordinator level)
• Experience with the City of Vancouver
• Full cycle development experience a must (Re-zoning through the completion of build)
• High-rise experience
• Come with a team approach mindset, open to new ideas

COMPENSATION

• Salary range $110,000 to $150,000
• Full medical and dental coverage
• 3-4 weeks vacation
• Bonus
