About the Client
Our client is a growing, Vancouver-based, residential developer who has developed many multi-family residential projects in the Vancouver area, as well as a collection of luxury single family homes on the city's west side.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the controller, we are seeking a highly motivated development accountant.

Responsibilities:
- Perform full cycle accounting and monthly bank reconciliations
- Process and record rent income and expenses for a small IPP portfolio
- Assist in preparing annual budget and CAM reconciliation for IPP
- Monthly corporate credit card reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable including data entry, cheque runs, reconciling vendor accounts
- Assist with month end and year end procedures
- Assist the team with any special projects
- Assist with deposits and payments
- Various ad-hoc projects assigned by the controller

Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma
- 2 year experience in real estate/property management is an asset
- Experience with accounting software (SAGE 300 CRE is an asset)
- Has a good fundamental knowledge of accounting practices
- A team player with passion and desire to grow
- Self motivated, positive attitude and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in microsoft excel is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
