• Prepare design drawings and perform design calculations based on engineering principles for a wide variety of water and wastewater projects, including, but not limited to, process piping, treatment plants, filtration systems, reservoirs, on-site systems, and pumping stations;
• Organize and prepare permit applications with municipalities or regulatory agencies;
• Liaise with municipal staff, contractors, the public, and equipment suppliers;
• Assist with the preparation of technical design reports and memos;
• Attend and participate in project team meetings, and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient and timely delivery of project deliverables;
• Other related duties, as assigned.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Technology;
• 0-3 years of related work experience (including co-op experience);
• Pursuing C.Tech., C.E.T., or P.Eng. designation;
• Knowledge of engineering principles and design standards
• Good civil design software (CAD) skills
• Strong technical report writing skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Excellent time management and organizational skills;
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Working knowledge of MS Office software, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
