As a Design & Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the construction and project requirements needed for various renovations and new locations.

Why we\'ll love You:
  • Prior experience developing or adjusting floor plans or office layouts and elevations using AutoCad, Vectorworks, Bluebeam, Adobe or equivalent.
  • Proven software competency in AutoCad or Vectorworks or a similar software, as well as MS office Suite.
  • Excellent understanding of construction terminology and application.
  • Expert time manager, with exceptional organization skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Mastery of budget & construction schedule management.
  • Experienced with landlord and municipal approvals to obtain required construction permits.
  • The ability to work & liaise with multiple teams & departments both internal and external.
  • Post Secondary Degree/deploma or Certification in Construction Management or similar.
Once here, you\'ll:
  • Review lease to confirm landlord and tenant responsibilities.
  • Lead the planning & design phase of retail national renovation rollouts with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed scope of work and budget for approval.
  • Obtain or coordinate required landlord and municipal approvals.
  • Tender & award to General Contractor or subtrades.
  • Ensure execution of construction schedule and liaise with our staff and contractors as needed.
  • Coordinate the project through to completion.
  • Electronically catalogue all related construction documents and specifications.
  • Engage with Director of Construction to forecast & plan future renovations & new locations.
