Sparks Carpet One Ltd. has an immediate opening for a Design Consultant/Sales Associate to join our team. The associate will be responsible for working with customers one-on-one to design custom flooring and tile projects. If you\'re a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual, we will provide the tools and training for you to achieve success. - OSSD or equivalent
- At least 1 year retail sales experience
- Interior design experience would be an asset The Design Consultant/Sales Associate\'s main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- maintain a level of professional knowledge about flooring products in order to effectively sell to customers
- use appropriate sales process and customer service approach to sell flooring products and related services to customers
- assist customers in selecting functional and aesthetically pleasing flooring
- process customer transactions (deposits, payments, etc.)
- process sales orders and quotes by using measuring and estimating techniques
- follow up with customers before and after their orders are complete Hours are Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm with alternating Saturdays (a day off during the week is provided for weeks that Saturdays are worked). One hour unpaid lunch provided daily. Benefits and 2 weeks paid vacation included. Job Type: Full-time Salary: From $18.50 per hour Benefits:
