ACACIA LANDSCAPE - DEPOT and FLEET MANAGER

Acacia has an immediate opening for a Depot and Fleet Manager. The successful candidate will be an honest, detail-oriented, hardworking, skilled, professional, organized and positive individual with a superlative attitude who is available to work from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined as keeping our vehicles and equipment in working order will be an essential part of the job. The role would be well suited to an individual who embraces variety as there are myriad tasks, in addition to those mentioned above, for which the successful candidate will be responsible. These would include, among other tasks, site security and organisation, all aspects of inventory, crew support, health and safety, trucking materials to job sites when needed, and fleet insurance. The successful candidate will relate well to Management, Colleagues and Clients alike, will be an excellent communicator, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Fluency in the English language in both written and verbal form is a prerequisite for consideration. The role would include some data entry and correspondence via text, phone and e-mail and, as such, computer proficiency with respect to programmes like Word, Outlook and Excel in particular would be an asset. The successful candidate will also have superior interpersonal skills and will play a key role as a member of our HR Team, with particular responsibility for assisting with the on-boarding of new crew members.
