The position provides advanced confidential administrative support to the Senior Director, Financial manager and legal team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Provincial Medical Services office as well as the overall Medical Services department. In carrying out these functions, the incumbent plays an integral role in month-end reporting activities, audit preparation processes and database entry and management. The candidate will also collect data through computerized system(s), manipulate data, prepare reports for government, and distribute to requesting representatives from government for various projects and reports. Project work and quality improvement activities are also integral components of the work for this position. This includes the development of program reports, key performance indicators and data related to program evaluation. As well as encompassing a full range of office administrative functions including production of correspondence, reports, and presentations. Strong computer skills are required. The candidate will maintain the Senior Director\'s and managers\' calendars, organize meetings, prepare agendas; record minutes and carry out necessary follow-up. The candidate will organize and maintain effective file management systems, handle routine correspondence, and will be the first contact to the Department ensuring appropriate referral and follow up. This position will have daily interactions with Senior Executive, Directors, and Managers, staff, internal and external clients.There may be a need to work hours beyond the normal work week including evenings or weekends.Job Demands

Completion of a recognized/approved three-year Business Management program is required.
Minimum of three years\' experience within the last five years working in a progressively responsible clerical role, including experience in data collection, analysis and reporting, is required.
Demonstrated effective problem solving, organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
The ability to work independently using required tools and contract commitments; considerable initiative and judgment; and strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products in particular advanced skills in Excel, especially the ability to manipulate data and prepare reports.
