We are looking for a Youth Marketing Co-ordinator to lead the marketing of a youth mental health event at University of Guelph.
As our Youth Marketing Co-ordinator, you'll be taking on the essential tasks related to the successful implementation of this event. You will:
Develop a marketing plan to promote Youth Mental Health event (e.g. contacting potential partners)
Execute marketing plan to attract 100 youth attendees to event
Develop or assist in developing marketing content to be shared on website, social media and other publications
Day of event in-person presence to implement event.
Act as host for the event, if needed
Promote the event with university professors, officials and dean
Promote event to local politicians and recruit politicians to attend event
UofG event tentatively planned for July 5 2025 at Peter Clark Hall
Potentially help with marketing/co-ordination tasks for another event - anniversary event in Vaughan, Ontario - Potentially July 27 2025

Compensation
$16.60 per hour for 5 to 10 hours a week
Work Environment
Work from home mainly. In person required to implement event. If further in person required, to be agreed upon in advance.
Experience
Experience being an executive or member with a student association or group at University of Guelph
Experience marketing for a youth speaker event or related event with 100 youth attendees
Preferred Qualifications
Experience marketing youth events that have reached 100 youth attendees
Computer skills, including Email, MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Must be flexible to work from home
Diploma in marketing is an asset
Social media savvy
Start date June 9 2025.
