Conduct detailed consultations to explain treatment plans, procedures, timelines, and cost estimates (Invisalign, Implants)
Assist patients with financing options, insurance coverage, pre-authorizations, and out-of-pocket estimates.
Schedule treatment appointments and follow up with patients who haven't completed their plans
Coordinate between clinical team and patients to ensure smooth care delivery
Submit claims and pre-determinations, and manage insurance paperwork to maximize
Monitor case acceptance, production, and payment schedules, and initiate reminders for outstanding plans
Provide compassionate customer service, addressing concerns and reinforcing patient confidence
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator or in a similar dental administrative role (3+ years preferred)
Strong understanding of dental terminology, insurance protocols, and treatment planning
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and sales-oriented skills
Well-organized, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple patient cases and follow-ups
Proficiency in dental practice management software (OpenDental experience is an asset)
High integrity with respect to patient privacy and confidentiality
