Job Summary

The Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients within the dental setting. This position involves coordinating patient treatment plans, managing schedules, and facilitating communication between patients, healthcare providers and insurance companies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and surgical procedures and have 3+ years of experience in a dental office and Dentirx software knowledge. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with providers and ensuring all necessary information is communicated effectively. Manage patient schedules, including appointments and follow-ups, to optimize workflow within the office. Maintain accurate electronic dental records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Provide guidance and support to ensure efficient office operations. Address patient inquiries regarding treatment options, insurance coverage, and payment plans. We are a non-assignment office.

Skills

Strong understanding of dental terminology relevant to basic and surgical. Experience in supervising staff within a hospital or medical office environment. Familiarity with dental office operations and procedures is preferred. Proficient in using electronic medical records systems, particularly Dentrix. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
