Dental Sterilization Technician

to join our state of the art, modern office on Shediac Road, Moncton.

Position overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Dental Sterilization Technician to join our clinical team. This vital role helps ensure the safety and smooth operation of our practice by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, infection control and instrument sterilization. You'll play a key part in supporting our dental professionals and ensure we meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency for our patients and staff.

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize all dental instruments and equipment according to current infection control standards. Operate, monitor, and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners. Prepare, organize, and distribute sterile instruments and procedure trays for clinical use. Maintain cleanliness and order in the sterilization area and operatories between patients. Track sterilization cycles, conduct biological and chemical monitoring, and log results. Monitor inventory and assist in restocking sterilization and hygiene supplies. Report and help troubleshoot equipment issues promptly. Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to ensure a smooth clinical workflow. Follow all regulatory and infection prevention protocols to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is an asset Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures is helpful Secondary (high-school) graduation certificate Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Reliable, efficient, and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior clinical staff.

Pay:

$20-22 per hour
