Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Assistant to join our dental practice.

Part time - 3 days per week. Candidates

must

be available to work all of the following days and hours:

Monday 12.30-7.30pm Tuesday 12.30-7.30pm Thursday 10.30-5.30pm
Tasks include

Being constantly aware of infection control protocols and always mindful of CLEAN vs DIRTY Re-processing dirty instruments: scrubbing, placing in the ultrasonic, drying, bagging and running through the Statim/Statclave; then returning them on trays to their appropriate homes; Assisting in cleaning and turning over dental operatories between patients as needed; Assisting hygienists with perio charting as needed; Re-stocking dental operatories and general supplies around the office; Laundry of towels & gowns, preparing surgical packs etc
Requirements:

Must be available to work all of the days and hours listed above Knowledge of Infection Control Protocols Ability to remain standing for long hours Previous experience in a Canadian Dental Office is an asset Seeking a Long term position
