Sterilization Assistant - Dental Office (Royal Oak NW Calgary)

Our busy and friendly dental office in Royal Oak (NW Calgary) is excited to welcome an energetic, team-oriented

Sterilization Assistant

to join us in

December 2025

. Our current sterilization tech is graduating from dental hygiene school and stepping into a clinical role, and we're looking for the right person to continue supporting our team.

Please note:

Experience in dental sterilization is required.

Applicants without sterilization experience will not be considered.

Role & Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and reprocess all dental instruments used in the practice Maintain sterilization equipment according to manufacturer manuals and guidelines Keep accurate and up-to-date logs of all sterilization loads Ensure all instruments and handpieces are processed according to IPC protocols Set up trays/kits with appropriate instruments Tear down and disinfect operatories between patients Perform basic room setups for both DDS and RDH

Schedule

This position offers a consistent range of hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday:

10:00am - 6:00pm

Thursday:

8:00am - 3:30pm

Friday:

8:00am - 2:30pm

Two Saturdays per month

(never on long weekends): 8:00am - 2:30pm
