Job Summary


We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role involves handling patient scheduling, insurance processing, and maintaining accurate records using advanced dental software. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient experience and supporting the overall functionality of the dental office.

Responsibilities



Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits Utilize dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic to schedule appointments, update patient records, and process billing Collect and verify patient insurance information; process claims accurately using electronic medical records systems Maintain organized front desk operations, including filing, data entry, and handling correspondence Assist with administrative tasks such as updating medical terminology documentation and managing office supplies Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information Support the dental team by coordinating patient flow and providing exceptional customer service

Experience



Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a medical or dental office setting is preferred Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix and Epic is highly desirable Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems Experience with office administration, including multi-line phone systems and front desk operations Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Previous experience in medical or dental office environments demonstrating professionalism and confidentiality

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
