We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental office operations and administrative support, ensuring smooth front desk operations and exceptional patient experiences. This role requires proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems, handling electronic medical records, and familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix and Epic.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process efficiently.
Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits while maintaining an organized calendar.
Handle incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately.
Maintain accurate patient records within electronic medical records systems.
Process patient insurance information and assist with billing inquiries.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
Keep the front desk area tidy and stocked with necessary supplies.
Assist in managing office correspondence, including emails and faxes.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Proficiency in using Dentrix and Epic software is highly desirable.
Strong administrative skills with experience in office management tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
