We are seeking to add on another Dental Receptionist to our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle administrative tasks with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations and delivering excellent patient service. Prior experience in dental or medical office settings, along with proficiency in electronic medical records, is highly valued. Familiarity with Cleardent software is an asset. Willing to train the right fit.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, providing a welcoming environment.
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient communication.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems like Cleardent
Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing or payment processing as needed.
Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently to optimize the daily workflow.
Handle administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
Assist with front desk operations to ensure a smooth patient check-in and check-out process.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure all patient needs are met promptly and professionally.
Experience
Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred.
Knowledge of dental software systems such as Cleardent is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records management.
Strong office experience including administrative tasks, front desk operations, and multi-line phone system management.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients and team members.
