We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental office environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth workflow within the office and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patients.
Duties
Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the dental office, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming, rescheduling, and canceling appointments using dental software.
Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries and providing information about services offered.
Maintain patient records accurately in electronic medical records systems such as Tracker, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information to facilitate billing procedures.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized front desk operations.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication throughout the office.
Requirements
Previous experience in a front desk role within a dental office is preferred.
Proficiency in using phone systems and administrative software; familiarity with Tracker or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Strong understanding of Dental terminology.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and organization.
A team-oriented attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy environment.
