We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, familiarity with dental office operations, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting is highly preferred to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent patient experiences. Experience with Cleardenot is required.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Cleardent or similar practice management software
Handle multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, transfer calls, and take messages accurately
Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and update electronic medical records using Epic or other EMR systems
Prepare and manage patient files, ensuring all documentation is complete and organized
Assist with billing procedures, including processing payments and insurance claims
Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area, ensuring all office supplies are stocked
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental or medical office environment is highly desirable
Familiarity with dental software such as Cleardent is required
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Proven experience managing multi-line phone systems and handling administrative tasks efficiently
Office experience demonstrating excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and administrative procedures in healthcare settings is advantageous
