We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental office software is considered an asset, and must have a friendly demeanor to ensure a positive patient experience. Prior experience in dental or medical office environments is highly valued but not required.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival
Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
Prepare and organize patient files using Dentrix software systems
Collect payments, co-pays, and process billing transactions
Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up with patients as needed via phone and Recall Max
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, faxing, scanning, and filing
Requirements
Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is an asset
Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Office experience including front desk duties and administrative support
Professional demeanor with a friendly attitude towards patients and staff
High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
