Dental Hygienist Needed for Sundays in West Kelowna, BC! Make Up to $100/hr!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and education while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and assisting in the overall success of our dental practice.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient treatment plans and progress notes accurately using Dentrix or similar dental software. Assist the dentist during procedures, including orthodontic treatments when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to infection control protocols. Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental office software is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Experience in pediatrics is a plus, with the ability to engage effectively with children. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable, particularly in orthodontics or dental assisting roles. Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
