, you will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care while educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.

Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate patient records using Dental software, documenting treatment plans and patient interactions. Assist in managing the flow of patients within the office, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals. Collaborate with dentists on treatment plans for orthodontics and pediatric patients. Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Proficiency in dental terminology. Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required. Familiarity dental office software is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Previous experience in dental assisting or working within a dental office is advantageous. Knowledge of orthodontics is beneficial for assisting with specialized treatments. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
