Dental Handpiece Service & Support Coordinator

As a Dental Handpiece Repair Technician/Administrator, you will be responsible for repairing dental handpieces in-house, managing service workflows, and supporting both customers and internal teams. The role combines hands-on technical work with administrative duties, including handling repair inquiries, coordinating part orders, assisting the service team, and maintaining inventory. Strong communication skills, customer service experience, and the ability to promote K-Dental's products and services are essential.

Key Responsibilities



Technical Repairs & Equipment Handling



Diagnose and repair various dental handpieces in-house with attention to quality and turnaround time Complete work orders accurately, including parts used, labor hours, and service notes Deliver, install, and pick up repaired or new dental equipment as needed

Customer & Vendor Support



Respond to customer inquiries regarding repair status, part availability, and service quotes Proactively promote available products and services during customer interactions Communicate with vendors and manufacturers to manage part orders and returns of defective items

Administrative & Team Support



Assist the Service Administrator in issuing purchase orders and coordinating service logistics Enter part orders as requested by Service Technicians Help maintain accurate inventory levels and support stock replenishment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with company safety protocols

Qualifications



Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting tools and materials. Minimum 1 year of technical or mechanical repair experience, preferably in dental equipment service Previous experience in a dental service department or related technical field is an asset Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office applications, and basic networking Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer support Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and assist in promoting service and product solutions
