Dental Front Desk in West Kelowna, BC! Earn up to $30/hr!

We're looking for a detail-oriented and committed Front Desk Agent to become part of our thriving dental practice. The perfect candidate will serve as the initial contact for our patients, delivering outstanding customer service while effectively handling administrative duties. This position demands excellent communication abilities and knowledge of dental office procedures, including proficiency with electronic health record systems and reception desk functions.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process efficiently. Schedule and confirm appointments using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic. Handle incoming calls and inquiries, providing information about services and assisting with patient needs. Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems. Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office. Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is essential. Proficiency in using electronic medical records software; experience with Dentrix or Epic is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
