We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position involves assisting with various dental procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
Take digital radiographs.
Review oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage the front desk as needed, including handling patient inquiries.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders when necessary.
Support orthodontic procedures and assist with oral surgery as required.
Skills
Proficiency in using dental software systems like Abeldent is highly desirable.
Knowledge of orthodontics and experience in oral surgery are an asset.
Strong dental assisting skills, including knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
