Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Must be HARP Certified and Dental Assistant level -II.

The successful candidate will join us in building patient relationships and delivering exceptional oral health care.

As our Dental Assistant, you will contribute to building a comfortable and effective visit for each patient.

Ideal Candidate:

Certified Dental Assistant (preferably level 2)

Team player

Highly organized

Good communication skills

Previous experience in a similar role at a dental office preferred

Core functions include but are not limited to:

Answering patient questions before an appointment.

Prepares patient and patient room for procedures.

Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment.

Setting up instrument trays

Preparing the dental exam room for use by the dentist by making sure it is stocked and organized.

Assisting the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments, getting supplies, and maintaining a dry field.

Assisting with dental x-rays.

Assisting with dental lab work.

Instructing patients in oral hygiene, plaque control programs, and post operative instructions.

Discussing treatment recommendations with patients.

Maintaining patient records.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.16-$29.89 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
