Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist with various procedures. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to enhancing the patient experience.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during treatment. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the operatory and other areas of the practice. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the dental office.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including chairside assistance. Experience with dental software systems such as Paradim/LogicTech is highly desirable. Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) applications related to dentistry is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
