Job Summary:



We are seeking a dedicated, organized and detail-oriented full-time Dental Assistant to join our small, tight-knit team. This hybrid role supports both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients and staff. The ideal candidate is a team player who can delivery high-quality patient care as well as handle front desk responsibilities with professionalism and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:



Patient Care:

Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures. Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in operatory areas. Take and develop dental X-rays. Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients.
Front Desk:

Greet patients warmly and professionally, in person and over the phone. Schedule and confirm appointments using Maxident software. Handle patient check-in and check-out processes. Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations as needed. Collect co-pays, payments, and maintain accurate billing records. Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries.

Qualifications:



Education

:

Must be a registered dental assistant. Surgical experience preferred.
Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently. Proficient in dental software and technology. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Working Hours:



Full-time position No evening or weekend shifts
