Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Administrator to join our team in Thornhill, ON. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality dental care. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a passion for patient service.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow. Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Coordinate scheduling for patients and staff, optimizing appointment availability. Handle billing and financial management processes. Supervise administrative staff and provide training as needed. Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment. Implement office policies and procedures to enhance patient experience. Collaborate with dentists and hygienists to support clinical operations. able to work some evenings and one or two weekend days per month.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting and/or graduate from Dental assisting/admin programs. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and office management practices. Proficiency in financial management and budgeting. Familiarity with dental software such Dentrix is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to supervise staff effectively and foster a positive team environment.
