We are currently seeking an experienced
Dental Administrator
to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an integral role at Smile Society Dentistry. From giving patients a warm welcome to ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering excellent customer service at every stage of the patient's visit. If you're a people-person and have had prior administrator experience, this role might be the right fit for you.

The Role:
Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Checking patients in and ensuring all information is updated
Communicating with clinical staff of any schedule changes and patient arrivals
Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar efficiently
Answering phone calls, emails, and other inbound inquiries promptly and courteously
Collecting payments and maintaining accurate financial transaction records
Maintaining confidential patient records in line with latest privacy standards
Coordinating with dental staff to optimize patient flow and scheduling
Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
Calling and handling, in a courteous manner, no-show or reschedule patients
Assisting in clinic opening and closing procedures at the beginning and end of each day
Ensuring cleanliness of the front desk and patient facing areas
Providing administrative support to dental providers and clinical staff, as needed
The Skills:
Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Dental Administrator
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused setting
High attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional demeanor and customer service-oriented attitude
Experience with OpenDental software is preferable.
