Gardiners Dental Clinic is seeking a motivated, professional, and enthusiastic dental administrator with excellent communication and customer service skills to further our mission of delivering quality, patient-centered care to the community.
Our team of dedicated staff is warm and welcoming and we are excited to find the right fit for this position. The successful candidate will have strong organizational, inter-personal, and multi-tasking skills and a proactive mindset. Proficiency in use of computer software programs and applications is required.
Experience in dental or medical administration is an asset but on site training is provided. Candidates with clinical dental experience who are interested in transitioning to administration are also welcome.
Responsibilities involve front desk operations, including but not limited to: greeting patients and handling inquiries by phone and e-mail; maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient information is up-to-date; assisting in scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow; taking payments; providing administrative support to dental staff, and facilitating team communication.
The role is part-time with regular shifts Monday to Friday (no weekends!) with the possibility of transition of full time (to include one evening per week) for the right candidate.
