We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires proficiency in managing front desk responsibilities, handling electronic dental records, and providing exceptional customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
Manage the front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone calls.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for providers.
Process patient information accurately in electronic medical records systems such as Dexis and Dentrix.
Handle insurance verification and billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Maintain a clean and welcoming office environment for patients and staff.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Ensure compliance with dental terminology and office protocols within the dental or medical office setting.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care effectively.
Skills
Proficient in operating phone systems and managing multi-line calls.
Experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology relevant to dental practices.
Knowledge of electronic medical records systems, particularly Dentrix.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic office setting.
