We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our dental office. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in electronic medical records, and familiarity with dental terminology and software.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for multiple providers.
Answer multi-line phone systems, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly.
Collect patient information and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance eligibility.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the patient experience.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office is preferred.
Proficiency in dental software Cleardent and familiarity with Recall Max is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
