Job Duties

Comply with applicable legislation, including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers' hours of service, occupational health & safety, Complete pre-trip inspection of loaded product to confirm accuracy of the orders being delivered Utilize a pallet jack for moving palletized inventory from the factory to the delivery vehicle Loading and unloading residential and multifamily cabinetry onto allotted trucks Drive in a safe and defensive manner at all times, avoid careless errors at all costs, Applying best practices and follow all applicable policies, procedures, and legislation e.g., Alberta Distracted Driving Traffic Laws, etc. Complete an on-site order review of all delivered products with the customer to obtain a delivery sign-off confirmation Using company software, record information on deliveries Perform daily and weekly maintenance checks of vehicle e.g., tire pressure check, vehicle cleaning, check fluid levels Identify and mitigate safety hazards Assist in maintaining clean and organized vehicles/warehouse Maintain inventory in appropriate/designated storage areas in warehouse Work within a team environment Other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Ability to successfully submit and complete a 3-year Driver Abstract Consent with the Company's insurance provider Class 5 Drivers License Air Brake Endorsement (Q) considered an asset 2-years previous driving experience Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills Ability to lift 15kg up to 35kg on a consistent basis Be capable of safely lifting and carrying items both as a 2-person team and solo Proficient at moving items without damaging walls, flooring, etc. Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently Positive attitude with a desire to work in a close team environment Ability to read delivery orders for purchase accuracy with customer

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
