Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver and Forklift Operator who will also assist in our packhouse operations when deliveries are not scheduled. This dual-role position requires a versatile individual who can ensure timely and accurate deliveries while supporting the packing team in maintaining efficiency and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Delivery Duties:

Safely transport goods to customers, with a 5-ton truck, on time while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, following assigned routes. Load and unload delivery vehicles, by means of forklift, electric pallet jack or hand jack, ensuring products are handled with care to avoid damage and that load is secure. Verify delivery information, including addresses and special instructions. Obtain necessary signatures and documentation for deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries or concerns professionally.

Packhouse Duties:

Assist in sorting, packing, and labeling products according to company standards. Ensure the packing area is clean, organized, and free of hazards. Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company specifications. Assist with inventory management, including counting and organizing stock. Support other team members in meeting production and shipping deadlines. Operate a forklift to assist with packhouse operations as needed.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license (Class 4 unrestricted or Class 1) with a clean driving record and Valid forklift license. Proven experience as a delivery driver and forklift operator or in a similar role. Ability to lift and carry heavy products and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Familiarity with local roads and routes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in English. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or overtime, as needed.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
