We have recently brought our same-day delivery service in-house and are expanding our internal capabilities. We're looking for a highly organized and proactive

Delivery Dispatch Lead

to support and ultimately own the day-to-day execution of our delivery program. This is an ASAP hire.

Reporting to the

Ecommerce Manager

, this role is comprised of 3 key functions:

Daily Dispatch & Operations

Driver Management & Scheduling

Reporting, Optimization & Growth

This position entails working 1-9 PM, five days a week, including Saturdays and Sundays.

What You'll Do:

Daily Dispatch & Operations

Manage day-to-day dispatching through

Onfleet

, ensuring accurate and efficient routing. Monitor order flow, driver progress, and delivery SLAs; proactively resolve delays or issues. Serve as the main point of contact for drivers and stores during shifts. Enforce delivery compliance standards (ID checks, manifests, etc.).

Driver Management & Scheduling

Coordinate and confirm driver coverage for all operational hours. Build weekly driver schedules and update as needed. Support the sourcing, vetting, and onboarding of new

contract drivers

. Monitor driver performance and flag concerns or opportunities for process improvement.

Reporting, Optimization & Growth

Track key delivery KPIs, including delivery times, success rates, coverage gaps, and route efficiency. Recommend improvements to workflows, staffing models, routing logic, and operational processes based on data insights. Collaborate with the Ecommerce Manager to plan and launch new delivery markets. Maintain accurate logs, documentation, and reporting to support compliance and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with many real-time decisions. Strong communication and management skills, especially with remote teams (drivers). Highly organized; thrives on owning schedules and operational processes. Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms like Onfleet, POS systems, dashboards, etc. Customer-focused mindset with a drive to ensure deliveries arrive on time and accurately. Nice to have: Experience in dispatching, logistics coordination or operations.

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
