Deer Creek Third Cook

Job Description
Deer Creek is looking for a Third Cook who is responsible for preparing food in different sections of the kitchen. Because of this, a successful Third Cook must be very knowledgeable about his or her specialty, as well as culinary functions in general. A person in this role must also be very organized and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.
Salary range from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Food Production and Presentation
- Prepares food as needed
- Follows all production recipes to ensure consistent quality
- Adheres to all quality standards for food quality and presentation
- Ensures maintenance of cooking equipment
- Maintains a sanitary and safe kitchen/storage environment
- Adheres to the established HACCP plan
- Serves as a role model for other employees through teamwork, attention to detail & quality control
- Interactions with all team members
- Ensures guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Some college preferred
- 0 – 1 year experience
- Willingness to learn and take direction
