Position Overview

We are seeking a

driven, disciplined, and assertive Collections Specialist

to join our Vaughan office. This role is ideal for someone who wants to earn great money, learn the legal and financial side of collections, and contribute to a rapidly growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Call and negotiate with debtors to resolve outstanding accounts Manage a portfolio of client files with accuracy and professionalism Draft emails to debtors proposing payments and settlements Make frequent outbound calls for account follow-up and resolution Prepare proof of claims and assist in drafting legal documents for paralegals/lawyers Maintain detailed, accurate records of all collection activity Work collaboratively with our administrative and management team Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and government regulations

Required Qualifications

Base previous collections experience (consumer or commercial) Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) Strong phone presence and confidence in negotiation Ability to work independently and also within a team Understanding of court or legal processes is a strong asset Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

French fluency (major advantage) Additional languages are a bonus Basic Excel proficiency Experience in legal, financial, or enforcement environments

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $40,000-$55,000
