Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare professional to join our team as our Daycare Manager. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and have strong communication skills and conflict resolution skills. This role involves providing quality care, fostering learning, and supporting the developmental needs of children in our daycare setting. Experience with children and an understanding of early childhood education principles are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that policies are being adhered to to ensure safety and well-being at all times. Create a positive and stimulating environment that encourages staff to work as a team. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence while providing guidance as needed. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to childcare and education. Support children with disabilities by adapting care plans to meet individual needs and promote inclusion. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the daycare, following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

ECE Certification Previous experience in caregiving or working with children. Knowledge of early childhood education principles. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus but not required at the time of hire; training will be provided. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $33.00-$35.86 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 40 per week
