Position Overview:
The Director will oversee the daily operations of the program, support educators in the classrooms, and manage administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth and compliant program operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day program operations
Support and assist staff within classrooms as needed
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to educators
Submit child-care claims and complete required documentation
Manage administrative tasks related to licensing, funding, and program compliance
Communicate effectively with families
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
Qualifications:
Valid
Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification
(required)
CPR/First Aid Certification (required)
Previous leadership or supervisory experience (required)
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to balance classroom support with administrative duties
Knowledge of Alberta childcare regulations and funding programs
