Job Overview:

Duties:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons

- Create a safe and supportive learning environment

- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children

- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

- Monitor and assess children's progress

- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the curriculum

- Maintain accurate records of academic success

Skills:

- Required Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

-Teaching certification (OCT)

- Knowledge of child development principles and practices

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children

- Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience working with diverse populations

- Bilingual proficiency in English and French

- Certification in CPR and First Aid

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Day shift Holidays Monday to Friday No weekends

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:

teaching: 1 year (preferred) Early childhood education: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Ontario Teachers License? (preferred)
