Position Overview

We are seeking

1-3 Seasonal Camp Counsellors

to support our March Break and Summer Camp programs. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children, enjoy being outdoors in all weather, and value inclusive, relationship-based education.

Counsellors will work collaboratively with a small team of educators to support play-based, inquiry-driven experiences in forest, trail, and outdoor settings.

Key Responsibilities

Support and engage children ages 4-12 in outdoor, play-based activities Foster inclusive, safe, and respectful environments for all children Support children who may have diverse learning needs or require additional guidance Assist with daily routines including transitions, snack/lunch, and clean-up Model positive behaviour guidance and strong communication skills Work collaboratively as part of a team
Qualifications & Requirements

Passion for or experience working with children ages 4-12 Experience or interest in supporting children with special needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD) Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be

18 years of age or older

Ability to obtain a

Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check

First Aid & CPR-C certification

(required) Lifeguard certification is an asset (higher pay rate available for Summer Camp with this qualification)
