Day Bar Supervisor in a busy cocktail bar

This isn't your simple "highball" establishment, we develop high level Mixologists and Chefs who are passionate and driven to

CREATE!

24 - 32 hours a week

(4 - 5 day shifts)

Starting Compensation - $16.80 / hr

Plus tip share - avg $9.5k to $12.5k / year

Activities and Responsibilities

Managing the organisational aspects of the bar, such as keeping the bar organised and clean, taking inventory and reordering supplies. Enforcing quality and safety controls. Managing the bar prep and organisation so the evening team is set for success. Ensuring licenses are updated and in line with current legislation. Working with diverse personalities both on the staff and patrons. Assisting in planning and taking part in promotional events. Diffusing tense situations between patrons or staff members to prevent possible safety or legal issues, ejecting unruly persons, if needed. Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons.

Day Bar Supervisor Requirements:

Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail High standards of cleanliness Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work morning/ daytime hours, including weekends, and holidays. Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy items in a fast-paced, exciting and challenging environment.
