Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview


Reporting to the Director - Clinical Education, the incumbent maintains the databases associated with the Clinical Education student placement program; manages workflow of the databases requiring a high degree of decision making and judgment; develops, maintains and audits systems ensuring data integrity; collects data and compiles reports for the program; and develops and maintains the clinical placement website.

Experience


  • Five years related experience including the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Web based applications required.
  • Proven experience setting up and managing complex databases and spreadsheets required.
  • HSP net training and experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)


  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Successful completion of a certificate/diploma program in personal computer/software/local area network management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Courses in project or program management preferred.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

Qualifications and Skills


  • Advanced knowledge of the internet including web based applications required.
  • Knowledge of the Health Sciences Placement Network (HSP net) and the Health Sciences Centre Centre-Wide Nursing Education Program intranet site preferred.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to provide the highest level of customer service and establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.
  • Extensive knowledge of software applications including the use of Windows, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
