Job Description
Mariner Innovations is currently seeking Intermediate and Senior Database Administrators to join our IT Professional Services Team. These are Consultant roles. The successful candidate will be well versed in all phases of the consulting cycle from pre-sales through the design and delivery. He/she will be comfortable presenting complex technical concepts at an appropriate level for a wide range of audiences (technical, management, and executive). Responsibilities include:
- Create and implement database maintenance strategies including monitoring and tuning of SQL databases.
- Build SQL Server data models
- Develop and review SQL Queries, stored procedures, views and triggers
- Transition Microsoft Access databases to SQL environment
- Upgrade outdated SQL environments to supported versions
- Provide SQL assistance/support for departmental projects
- Develop reports in SQL Server Reporting Services
- Create and manage documentation of SQL environment
- Work with the Project Manager(s) to determine requirements for each upgrade.
- Collaborate with other team members, vendors, and business stakeholders.
