BRP is seeking a Data Steward who will support the ongoing project development and implementation of our Customer Data Platform (CDP). The position will focus on program development and processes to bring our vision of consolidated customer data to life, through the management of metadata and its governance, data quality assurance, and data risk for the critical customer data. This is an exciting opportunity to drive activities that will enable innovation, revenue growth, and increased efficiency through effective management of our data assets.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a trusted advisor or subject matter expert on all aspects of the customer data life cycle in CDP and understands our data structure.

Become well versed on our data infrastructure to help provide realistic expectations of the level of effort for each integration and understand the value of different data sources.

Work collaboratively with the Customer-360/CDP project team, IT and business stakeholders across the organization in order to improve the flow of data between the CDP and source with the goal of getting as close to real-time as possible.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide creative and logical recommendations in order to solve potential gaps in data quality by utilizing established global and regulatory rules.

Understand and document the framework and infrastructure for data activation & segment measurement for marketing channels

Document the activation workflow to help with extensibility and process analysis moving forward

Contribute to the integrations with other systems and define the data collection requirements

Contribute to the integrations with multiple different data sources to create the data lake and customer profile

Participate in the requirement gathering for each individual data source to ensure that we are providing our business partners the requirements that they need and make sure we are getting the specific data points that we require

Assist with building the data governance policies within the system that ensures that we\'re using the data properly. This includes creating proper labels to prevent data from being utilized in marketing efforts that are not inline with our privacy and legal policies.

Ensure the data quality assurance from the data accuracy, enhance data quality, and train the users to ensure continuity of results. This includes the identification areas of process and potential data quality gap and suggest recommendations to support data quality improvement and its data documentation.

Ensure adherence to the master data process of Data Object Policy by applying the processes, policies, guidelines and standards adopted by Enterprise Master Data Governance (MDG).

Applies and enforces policies and procedures to ensure uniform, accurate, and consistent data are present in support of SOX and/or quality audit requirements.

Provides testing support for defect, upgrades and enhancements, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for the Customer-360/CDP project.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Information Systems or related field.

4+ years of related work experience as an analyst responsible for an organization with complete and accurate customer data, customer data life cycle processes and its metrics.

Strong expertise in data management including data strategy, data quality, and data governance

Familiarity with the Customer Data Platform, especially on process data flow and organizational support models.

Understanding of end-to-end customer data flow that includes interactions and interdependencies with other functions, preferred.

Familiarity with Marketing Technology tools (Email/Marketing automation system, Personalization tools, Analytics tools, tag management systems)

Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills required.

Demonstrated skills in managing prioritization and complexity, using strong interpersonal skills

Comfortable working autonomously as well as with internal and external teams

Demonstrated strength in promoting & enforcing guidelines for Consumer Data creation, modification, security & access

ASSETS

Knowledge of best practices and latest trends in data management

Knowledge of Customer Data Platform (Tealium, Twilio Segment, ActionIQ, BlueConic, Lytics, FirstHive, Salesforce, etc.), CRM and DMP.

Knowledge of data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

A certification in data governance or data management (ex: DAMA Certified Data Management Professional or ICCP Data Governance & Stewardship Professional)
