They understand that their employees are the biggest asset in their success, and they take great pride in selecting employees who are team oriented, driven and eager to succeed.This people centric company is currently looking to hire Data & Reporting Analyst to join their IT team, based out of their Calgary office.As the Data & Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible to:

  • Elicit requirements for custom SQL objects and report development.
  • Create custom SQL objects for in-house developed reports and solutions.
  • Create and maintain new and existing Power BI and SSRS reports to meet business needs.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and results in datasets and in alignment with stakeholder requirements.
  • Ensure high quality data is available for extraction as needed by developing and implementing systems to identify, track, correct and prevent errors.
  • Participate in database backup and recovery activities.
  • Act as a primary resource for data support, data management issues and reporting capabilities.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics GP and DocLink database schema, data and business usage.
  • Post secondary Degree, Diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, Data Science or Analytics, or an acceptable combination of work experience and education in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience writing SQL queries and creating custom objects (views, triggers, stored procedures, tables).
  • Experience with data analytics and data science principles.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server is an asset.
